Recently, I read a forum article that directed me to the works of David00 over the use of a Raspberry Pi for power monitoring. Now, since I am looking into upgrading my home to use solar power (and not being new to this process of conversion) I know that I will need some better insight into my power usage before I can accurately plan my build out. Tools like what David00 has created are just what the engineer ordered!!!

As of this morning I have begun determining what I need and intend upon ordering the prebuilt kit from him shortly. I will detail my experience here as it progresses – so check back 🙂
